I'm a designer and lettering artist currently based in Austin, but my heart is in the Midwest. One day, my calculus teacher noticed my homework assignment was woefully blank, but the word 'Calculus' was doodled elaborately across the top. Instead of chastising me, he said, "Have you ever thought about being a graphic designer?" Big shoutout to Mr. Barter for seeing me, and not my shortcomings.

I am a graphic designer whose work focuses on branding, hand drawn typography, and marketing. Visual identity development is the perfect way to flex my extrovert muscle by creating; I bring authenticity to the table and expect the same from my clients in order to truly bring their brand to life. I'm particularly drawn to nonprofit and startup clients, which have consistently driven me to new discoveries about the craft of design and shown me how rewarding it is to collaborate with others who are passionate about their work. My goals are to create effective, accessible, design that makes lives easier, and to steward my creativity in a way that draws me closer to the Creator.

Days before Covid lockdown, my husband John and I married, and three months later, we moved from Cincinnati to Austin! We have had a wild and wonderful three years exploring Texas so far; I'm now a full time designer and he's pursuing his music in the live music capital of the world. 

I'm also a coffee snob, a walking Harry Potter encyclopedia, I desperately want a dog, and I could visit all the waterfalls in the world and never tire of them.  If you'd like to work together, use that contact page or download my resume!
